Publications
Researchers in the DPNC are developing, synthesizing, studying and predicting the quantum materials of the future. Using a broad range of experimental and theoretical approaches, they are advancing the understanding of quantum matter, and creating novel electronic devices.
DPNC focuses on innovative materials, in particular high-temperature superconductors, monoatomic layers and multilayers, magnetic materials, thermoelectrics, multiferroics, ceramic insulators, nanomaterials, ferroelectrics, piezoelectrics, carbon structures (fullerenes, nanotubes, graphene), intermetallics, organic metals, as well as materials for renewable energy and sustainable development, and many more, such as artificial solids studied in cold atomic gases. The DPNC contributes to the Geneva Quantum Centre.
